DESTINATIONS NORTHERN COAST

The northern coast of Cuba offers three amazing and different destinations. To the West you will find the Cosmopolitan city of Havana with all it has to offer one of the great cities of the world. Approximately 100 miles east of Havana you will find the resort town of Varadero and the City of Matanzas. The quintessential Beach resort in Cuba and the second largest city in the country is known as the Venice of Cuba. 80 miles east of Varadero you will find the hidden Jewel of Isabella de Sagua a former commercial port the Bahia de Sagua offers many opportunities for water activities and virgin keys to enjoy a picnic. You will find overwater restaurants offering the freshest of seafood in Cuba and the city of Santa Clara is nearby.

VARADERO

Varadero has the most modern Marina in the country and is the premier beach resort in Cuba a long history dating back to the 1920s. Having some of the most beautiful beaches on the island and the DuPont mansion. Close-by you can explore caves and the City of Matanzas the second largest city in the country.

ISABELA DE SAGUA

Isabela de Sagua is a new yachting port located in the beautiful Bahia de Sagua. It is known for its above water thatched-roof seafood restaurants. You can enjoy many water activities with Virgin keys and the City of Sagua la Grande and Santa Clara nearby.

DESTINATIONS SOUTHERN COAST

The southern coast lends itself primarily to scuba diving from Maria la Gorda on the western side to Gardens of the Queen in the east. From the port of Cienfuegos, you can easily Explorer the cities of Cienfuegos, Trinidad, and Santa Clara.

CIENFUEGOS

Founded by the Spaniards in 1819, but immediately settled by the French, this impressive port city was once the center for the sugar cane, mango, tobacco and coffee production and trade. There is a regal, old-world aura to the city with some of the most elaborate neoclassical buildings on the entire island.

CAYO LARGO

Cayo Largo del Sur is a small resort island off Cuba’s southern coast. It’s known for its long, sandy beaches, including Playa Los Cocos, Playa Blanca and Playa Lindarena. Sea turtles lay their eggs on Playa Tortuga. The Centro de Rescate de Tortugas Marinas is a sea turtle farm and conservation center.

TRINIDAD

Located one hour from Cienfuegos, Trinidad is the top jewel of Cuba’s colonial cities and declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988. Frozen in time since it was the center of the Cuban sugar trade in the 19th century, it’s history and architecture date back to the early 16th century and it is one of the best-preserved colonial cities in the Caribbean.

TRIP PLANNING

After the initial consultation we begin working on you trip. Designing a navigation plan and onshore and ocean activities for the owners and guests. We continue to work with you until a plan is finalized. We will make all marina reservations and get approvals from Cuba and continue to consult you throughout the trip.
